- Customer brought in vehicle due to vehicle a/c doesn't cool fast enough, Technician found vehicle a/c system low on pressure and when technician filled vehicle a/c with air vehicle would drop to 40 psi again. No current visual leaks were found by technician.Technician asked extended warranty for extended a/c performance testing in order to add small amounts of refrigerant to us sniffer machine to find leaks and add dye as well to see if u/v light helps. After approval technician found vehicle a/c system only had small discharge of refrigerant by a/c schrader valves. Technician recommends replacement of vehicle both a/c schrader valve cores and full recharge of vehicle a/c system.
