ACTIVE CODE P0705 TRANSMISSION RANGE SENSOR "A" CIRCUIT (PRNDL INPUT) Customer brought in vehicle due to recently purchased and wanted vehicle inspection overall. Technician inspected vehicle maintenance needed and found vehicle suspension components is currently okay. Technician found vehicle passenger side ball joint and outer tie rod have slight crack on component will need to recheck in two months. Technician found vehicle engine bay is healthy as well just low on coolant so top off needed. Technician found vehicle would have jerk motion when shifting into gears or leaving from a stop. Technician found vehicle passenger rear taillight assembly having intermittent electronic failure having lights sometimes turn on sometimes not or low dim displayed.Technician inspected vehicle wiring diagram and found vehicle neutral safety switch was being affected by vehicle rear passenger taillight circuit malfunction. Technician recommends replacement of vehicle rear passenger taillight socket assembly with new light bulbs and vehicle neutral safety switch to be replaced as well. Technician recommends transmission service with both new transmission filters and oil pan gasket.
